Computrol’s Sentinel application is your answer to quick and easy real-time monitoring and collection of process data.

Designed as a multi-treaded, 32 bit application, Sentinel exploits the Windows 95 and NT environment to give you reliable access to your plant floor data.

Sentinel Trending Screen Shot Real-time trending shows current activity on any data point. Trend types include:

  • point
  • horizontal and vertical bar
  • line
  • area
  • spline
     Sentinel Alarming Screen Shot Create an unlimited number of alarms based on user-defined thresholds with features like:

  • acknowledge one or all
  • alarm horn sounding with customizable
    sounds
  • trigger a digital pager
Sentinel Process Window Screen Shot View data the way you want with easily definable process windows. Data can be shown with:

  • variable decimals and units of measure
  • mutliple fonts and colors
  • icons and english text equivalents (on / off, active / suspended, etc.)

    Other features include:

    • an expandable code base written in industry standard Visual Basic.
    • connectivity to a variety of PLCs including Allen Bradley SLC and PLC5.
    • many configurable options.
    • data recording, collection and export capabilities for off-line analysis.
    • connectivity to SPC (statistical process control) applications.
